Angling for Sustainability Conference – University of Plymouth
February 12 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Join a series of talks at University for an engaging public event that will showcase the exciting results of two innovative Fisheries Industry Science Partnership (FISP) projects: Angling for Sustainability and Pollack FISP.
This event aims to bring together fishers, researchers and conservationists to share important findings on black bream, elasmobranchs (such as sharks and rays), and pollack. These projects have been working closely with fishers to gather vital data, helping to shape better, evidence-based fisheries management.
The conference will consist of presentations from project researchers, partners and guest speakers. It will be delivered in person at the University of Plymouth Marine Station, and online via Zoom webinar (the line will open at 09:45 with the event starting at 10:00).
Come along to learn, connect, and celebrate the progress made towards sustainable fisheries!
This will be followed by an evening networking event at The Loft, Sutton Harbour, Plymouth PL4 0DN (18:00 onwards – in person only).
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day and evening.
