From Eastern King Point around to Royal William Yard, the submerged seabed is not only dramatic but is rich in colourful marine life including some nationally rare and scarce species. The presentation will explain something of how the seabed has been shaped by river erosion and colonized by a wide variety of often exotic-looking species that change with the seasons and vary from year-to-year. It will help the audience understand why it is not only popular with divers but important to cherish and protect.
