On Saturday 14 March 2026, National Lottery players can enjoy free entry to Mount Batten Tower between 10am and 2pm. Just show your valid National Lottery ticket, scratch card or Instant Win Game at the door.
Step inside and take part in a relaxed memory booth hosted by a PhD researcher, where you can share your sea stories and pin your favourite Plymouth spots on a community map celebrating the story of our incredible Plymouth Sound National Marine Park.
From the top of the tower, soak up spectacular views across the water, the Hoe, and the harbour, perfect for photos, a quick heritage stop, or a peaceful moment to take it all in.
Then, at 2pm, join a free guided wellbeing and sensory walk setting off from the car park opposite the Mount Batten Centre.
The gentle route follows the breakwater and beach, with plenty of time to pause, listen, and connect with the sights and sounds of the coast. The first section along the breakwater is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Spaces are free but must be booked in advance, so reserve your spot early and make a day of it by the sea!
