1000 Tyres Project – Hooe Lake Point, Foreshore Clean-up

The SHIPS Project is organising a wide-ranging foreshore clean-up for their 1000 Tyres Project. We will be removing tyres, plastic and debris
Parking: You can park along Barton Road, and there is additional free parking available near the Guard Room Café
• Who can join in?
Anyone aged 14 and up, accompanied by a parent or guardian. You should be in reasonably good health, as we will be working on the foreshore and getting rather muddy
Please Bring:
• Workboot, tough Wellies or waterproof boots
• Clothes you dont mind getting covered in mud
• Bring clothing appropriate for the weather, if sunny, please bring a hat and sunscreen. If rainy and chilly, please bring rain gear and underlayers.
• Please bring your own water, snacks and food
We will provide:
• Tools for the job! We will have digging tools, bags, buckets, ropes, and other equipment needed for digging and recovering rubbish from the foreshore.
• Nitile Gloves
• Work Gloves
• We will supply soap and fresh water to wash off with.
