Easter Eggcase Hunt – Cawsand Beach

Join us on Saturday, 19th April from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM for an exciting Easter adventure on Cawsand Beach! We’re teaming up with the Shark Trust and Devon Wildlife Trust for a Shark and Ray Eggcase Hunt – a hands-on activity perfect for families, nature lovers, and anyone curious about marine life. Plus, there’ll be other fun beach activities to enjoy!
We’ll be using the Shark Trust’s eggcase hunt method to search for shark and ray eggcases (also known as mermaid’s purses) along the shore. Every discovery will be uploaded to their app as part of an important citizen science project that helps us learn more about these incredible creatures and how to protect them in Plymouth Sound.
