Plymouth Breakwater Swim

The 2025 Chestnut Appeal Plymouth Breakwater swim is back, and this time it’s on Sunday 20th July with a 9am swim time.
You’ll register and then board the boat ‘The Plymouth Sound’ at Commercial Wharf, The Barbican PL1 2NX.
The trip to the eastern end of the Breakwater takes around 20 minutes, so you’ve got plenty of time to listen to your safety briefing and get warmed up. You’ll then alight the boat and follow the swim route along the coastline at Jennycliff Bay, past Mount Batten pier and then make your way over to Tinside Beach, a longer than before distance of 3.8-4km.
