Ranger Boot Camp and Volunteer Day

This event is for ages 16+
Come and join us for our new winter series of our Ranger Bootcamp and Volunteer sessions. For January our first session will be held at Mount Edgcumbe.
Activity breakdown
- Morning: Get Hands-On with Volunteering
- Scrub clearance
- Trimming/tidying shrubs to promote growth for the Spring
- Midday: Learn in the Classroom
- Join a friendly and interactive session to explore the history of Mt Edgcumbe
- Gain knowledge to help you understand and protect nature
- Afternoon: Dive into Coastal Surveying?
- Conduct a coastal clean
- Contribute your findings to help with scientific studies on marine litter and its impacts
The day promises to help you learn new skills, get out an connect with nature and meet a group of like-minded people.
These sessions include a free lunch and transport costs. If you have dietary requirements or need help with transport please let us know at the time of booking.
