The Big Green Trail

Running from 10am-4pm there will be a range of free activities for you to enjoy as you explore the fantastic projects we have in Plymouth. From a rockpool safari with us to free bike rides at Victoria Park or crafts at Central library to immersive screenings at Market Hall there is something for everyone!
Stroll, roll, scoot or bus between stops as we discover new ways to travel around our vibrant city.
Ride for FREE on the Beryl e-bikes across Plymouth on Saturday 22 June.*
Kids also travel free on any City Bus journey across Plymouth.**

Try your hand at tub snorkelling, mermaid purse making and rock pooling adventures.
Mayflower Steps
Take a look at the real life living seawall and make your own tile to add.
Tinside Lido
Collect 4 or more stamps along the trail and enjoy a swim for only £2 per person. Just show your proof of stamps when you attend to swim, up to 5 people can swim for £2 each with proof of stamps.

Show your creative side and join in with the arts.

Get planting with microgreens, create your very own bookmark or get energy advice for your home.
The Box
Help build the mossy carpet and add woolly pompoms or record an audio message on the tell the tardigrade telephone. Join us as we celebrate our local climate legends and take a walk along the mossy carpet.

Craft a muddy puddle out of recycled materials to add to the collaborative artwork or go wildlife exploring around central park with ID sheets to help you along the way.
Victoria Park
Join a free guided bike ride, try out a Beryl e-bike, bring your own bike for a free maintenance check or join in the walking treasure hunt in the park with prizes to be won.
The Plot
Learn about how plastic is recycled and help out with the process to create new items or learn how to make linen.
Plymouth Scrapstore
Create your very own scrap sculptures and see what you can find at the Scrapstore.
Market Hall
Come and watch screenings in the immersive dome at 10am: Bugs, 12pm: The Chemistry of Life, 2pm: Legend of the Enchanted Reef.
Soapbox Children’s Theatre (Devonport Park)
Come and explore an exhibition of puppets and costumes or wonder around the Spellbound Art Garden with the sleeping giant.
The Village Hub
Grab an identification sheet and bug hunting equipment and root around the Blockhouse Park.
National Trust Saltram
Take part in nature crafting and lead an adventure around Saltram gardens.
