Devilโs Point tide pool is an integral spot in our National Marine Park that connects sea-enthusiasts to the natural world. We are excited to share the news that the tide pool and surrounding features of Firestone Bay will be receiving a healthy revamp during early 2024.
Firestone Bay is a magnet of activities and communities. Whether you are into brisk swims, SUP, wildlife, dog walks or scenery this revamp is something to get excited about! The tide pool revitalisation will also bring upgrades to accessibility and facilities such as new hand rails, lockers for swimmers and repairs to the steps.
Works are said to begin in the early months of 2024 and will take approximately 10 weeks to complete. Efforts will be made to keep Firestone Bay accessible for the public and environmental implications will be reviewed prior to any work on site.
