Budshead Manor Heritage Restoration Volunteer Project

This is the start of a new project in Budshead manor, Ernesettle. We will be restoring the manor to its former glory for the local scout group and the whole community to use.
Our plan is to build a beautiful Elizabethan garden in this space to get the ball rolling for turning this into a community space, then we can start to think about repairing and rebuilding the walls and developing the sense of pride in the community here. The work we will be doing on this day will be removing weeds and brambles, with some removal of ivy from the walls.
We will meet in the car park on Digby way, Ernesettle by the scout hut. What3Words: market.dust.listed.
You will need:
• Steel toed wellies/boots, if you don’t have the footwear but would like to go, please let me know your size and I will grab some out of the pool of boots we have access to
• Packed lunch & water
• Appropriate clothing for the weather
There will be teas, coffee’s and toilets available in the scout hut right next door to the space.
