Green Man Weekend

Back once again after a two-year break, the Green Man Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever.
The event at Mount Edgcumbe celebrates the re-birth of the year by constructing a huge Green Man figure made from storm-damaged trees.
This year’s Green Man event will be a fantastic mix of entertainment with something for all the family, on 28 and 29 May from 10am to 4pm. Enjoy live music on the stage by the sea from Black Friday, Space Cowboys and the Countrymen
Visitors can also watch medieval knights, Age of Chivalry, on the Bowling Green re-enacting some of their most victorious battles.
There will be traditional family activities running with the opportunity to shoot a traditional English Longbow, fairground entertainment from yesteryear plus delicious food, a licensed bar tent and lots of gifts and crafts to treat yourself.
With the event running on both Saturday and Sunday you can always come back for second helpings and make sure you don’t miss a thing.
The event is free to enter and plenty of parking is available on site at only £5 per vehicle for the whole day, or take the Cremyll Ferry from Plymouth dropping you straight into the Park.
