Print in Action Festival

22nd October 2022 @ 10:00 am 6:00 pm

This October, Real Ideas Organisation are putting on a whole festival dedicated to the art of print. From workshops to demos, masterclasses to markets, pop up shops to performances and more, this fun event for the whole family is set to get the creative juices flowing!

Whether you’re new to print or an expert in a variety of print practices, there’s something for you at this festival. Real Ideas have invited a diverse range of printmakers to do live demonstrations, workshops and masterclasses for people of all abilities. Original pieces will be available to buy at the Print Pop Up Shop, and a market showcasing a variety of printmakers and suppliers, meaning you can find something unique to take home with you or make a connection with an artist or supplier.

Food and drink vendors will be serving delicious, locally made food, and a line up of local musicians will play in the courtyard, with more headline names joining in the evening. Print in Action Festival is set to be a fun, relaxing weekend for all ages, with lots to do and see. Find out more and buy your tickets on the Real Ideas website here: https://realideas.org/whats-on/print-in-action-festival/

We love it when historic vessels pass through the marine park. Such a lovely sight πŸ’™

This is the Lynher Tamar River barge. It was built in 1896 and underwent a restoration in 1990s. Now it is used for education workshops and sailing experiences around #PSNMP and the River Tamar.
