Seafest x PSNMP Plymouth 2024 – The Barbican and Sutton Harbour

On 14 & 15 September, join us for a celebration by the sea with a fun-filled weekend of delectable food and sea-themed entertainment.
This year, the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership is teaming up with Plymouth Sound National Marine Park to create an even more immersive experience, extending the event across the Barbican, Sutton Harbour, Mount Batten Watersports & Activities Centre, Tinside Lido, and Mount Edgcumbe.
From roaming giant lobsters to shanty bands, the Barbican and Sutton Harbour are the perfect setting to explore stalls, complete a fish trail or simply kick back and enjoy the live music stage with performances across the weekend.
Pop up stalls and stands – including Meet the Marine Park, Ocean Conservation Trust, Interfish, RNLI and more. At the Parade you will find an array of stalls selling tasty fresh dishes.
Demonstrations – at Quay Square discover the fantastic fish display from Plymouth Fishing & Seafood Association, water Lobster ‘withy’ pots being made or take part the challenges and a range of other demonstrations. Visit The Rock Pool Project opposite the Tourist Information Centre to learn about the amazing work they do.
Fish Auction – Join us at 4pm each day for the famous seafood fish action
Live Music and Performances – Head to West Pier for the Live Music stage with a host of entertainment planned throughout the day as well as live music performances taking place in a number of local businesses. Throughout the day discover pop up performances and walk around acts throughout the Barbican.

The expansion of Seafest x PSNMP has been made possible thanks a once in a lifetime transformational opportunity, Plymouth has been awarded £11.6 million from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to develop the UK’s first National Marine Park.
