Secret Seagrass Meadows Book Reading

Join us for the ‘Secret Seagrass Meadows’ book reading by author, Emma Rosen.
Secret Seagrass Meadows’ is a beautifully illustrated children’s book, set in Plymouth, aiming to inspire and engage children aged approximately 5-7 and their parents in this valuable habitat right on their doorstep. Seagrass beds are a vital habitat for many marine animals and play an important role in tackling climate change. Natural England is leading efforts to restore seagrass in Plymouth through the LIFE Recreation ReMEDIES project. This innovative book offers an important window on this work for children and parents living in Plymouth and beyond. We hope that it will spark an interest for our future generations and local communities in marine conservation.
