Rockpool with our Rangers – Firestone Bay

27 Apr 2025

11:30 am - 1:30 pm

About

Firestone Bay is home to an abundance of wildlife from shore crabs and star fish to nudibranchs (sea slugs) and anemones. Come and join our Coastal Rangers as they safely guide you to discover what lives right on the doorstep of the UK's first National Marine Park, and even take part in a bit of citizen science as we go on a hunt to record specific species. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits after.

You will need appropriate clothing and footwear (we recommend walking boots or wellies) for weather and a phone.

There are available public toilets close by (with a charge). Moderate accessibility will be required for this event as there are steps down to the beach.

Please note: this event is subject to a 24 hour cancellation period in bad weather conditions.
