Seafest Walking Tour – Discover the Waterfront

Join this Seafest special and discover how Plymouth's history was shaped by the sea... completely free!

Find out how Plymouth grew from the small farm of Sutton, and how its rich history of trade, exploration, fishing and the armed forces shaped the city we live in today. 

This walking tour is ~90 minutes long and will take you around the Barbican and Hoe. You don't need any prior knowledge of history and it's suitable for interested children too!

If you have any access requirements, please let us know in advance. The route can be adapted for wheelchair and mobility scooter use.

Booking is essential. Please book in all adults and walking children. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
