Devonport Trail NMP Coastal Ranger Walk

6th December 2022 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

Walk a section of the Devonport trail with the National Marine Park Coastal Rangers. This is a great opportunity to get out for a walk around some of the fascinating historical sites that can be found along the shoreline of the NMP.

The walk will begin outside Elvira’s Cafe PL1 3RJ, next to the Admirals Hard jetty. Walkers can finish at Fore Street and catch a bus home. Or they can complete a loop back to Durnford Street near where the walk started. The total walk is approx. 4km or 2.5miles. It will take approx. 3 hours with plenty of stops along the way. People are welcome to leave the walk at any time and are encouraged to only do as much as is comfortable.

Comfortable walking shoes, a bottle of water and a rain jacket are advised for this walk.

You can sign up for the walk here or by clicking the website link below: https://buytickets.at/nationalmarinepark/796149

We love it when historic vessels pass through the marine park. Such a lovely sight πŸ’™

This is the Lynher Tamar River barge. It was built in 1896 and underwent a restoration in 1990s. Now it is used for education workshops and sailing experiences around #PSNMP and the River Tamar.
