
Foraging Walk – Ernesettle Fun Day

As part of the Ernesettle Funday, a community event led by the Ernesettle Community Forum Fund, we are bringing free foraging walk invites families to explore the wild plants around us! Led by Joanna from Incredible Edible, we will discover wild edibles during a gentle walk along the creek. You’ll learn how to identify and forage for a variety of wild plants, and you’ll have the opportunity to snack on some of the foraged goods we find along the way.
This educational walk will also touch on the medicinal uses of wild plants that can be found right on our doorstep, helping you connect with the natural world around you.
What to bring:
- Warm clothing and waterproof jacket
- Suitable footwear (the path could be wet and muddy)
- A drink
Distance: Approx. 3km (Can be adjusted for the group)
