About

Join us in tidying up a local nature reserve! Armed with bags and pickers we will make out way to the coast line along the creek, disposing of any litter we find and enjoying the scenery as we go. At the end we will reward our hard-work with tea and biscuits!

Kinterbury creek is a county wildlife site, a beautiful area home to ecologically important and rare habitats and species. The great mudflats support the graceful wading birds, the pockets of rocky shore provide home to all manor of creatures and the saltmarsh are home to many Devon notable plants. Situated between St. Budeaux and Barne Barton, it is one of Plymouths many hidden gems.

What to bring:

  • Waterproof Jacket,
  • Suitable foot wear (the path could be wet and muddy),
  • A drink or a snack

Distance: Approx. 3km (can be adjusted depending on the group).

Appropriate footwear (wellies/ boots) should be worn and clothes appropriate to the weather conditions
