Volunteer
Volunteers are at the heart of Plymouth Sound National Marine Park. By giving their time, energy and ideas, they help more people enjoy the water, understand its wildlife and care for this remarkable stretch of sea. From lending a hand at events to getting involved in practical projects along the shore, our volunteers help keep the United Kingdoms first National Marine Park thriving for everyone. Here you can explore what our volunteers do and discover the ways you can join in.

These monthly, drop-in, volunteering sessions give you a taster of what it feels like to do your bit for the National Marine Park. It’s a great way to get out in some fresh air, socialise with like-minded people whilst building outdoor maintenance skills.
