Get ready to celebrate Plymouth’s incredible connection with the sea on 12–13 September.
Plymouth Waterfront Partnership and Plymouth Sound National Marine Park will bring the waterfront to life with a vibrant, immersive programme spanning The Barbican, Sutton Harbour, Royal William Yard, Mount Batten Peninsula, Tinside Lido, Trinity Pier and Mount Edgcumbe.
Discover delicious local food, inspiring demonstrations and activities for all ages as communities across the waterfront come together to celebrate our shared marine heritage and the waters that make Plymouth special.
The Barbican and
Sutton Harbour
Visit Plymouth’s historic Barbican and Sutton Harbour to enjoy fresh local sustainably caught seafood, watch inspiring demonstrations from local chefs, and discover more about marine conservation and the wildlife of Plymouth Sound through hands-on activities for all ages.
Tinside Lido
Tinside Lido will host a day full of family-friendly entertainment beside the pool from 12pm – 6pm. Expect live DJ sets, magical bubble displays, glowing jellyfish stilt walkers, aqua zumba and mermaids!
Mount Batten and
Mount Edgcumbe
There will be an exciting range of activities happening at Mount Batten and Mount Edgcumbe, from Kayak and SUP sessions to Maritime Heritage Walking Tours – there’s something to suit everyone. Click the link for more details and booking information.
Royal William Yard
Seafest returns to Royal William Yard, with a weekend of free family activities, live entertainment and opportunities to connect with the water at one of the city’s most historic waterfront destinations.
From discovering maritime heritage and getting creative with hands-on crafts to enjoying inflatables and exhibitions, there will be something for visitors of every age across the Yard.
