Sea in our School
Sea in our School is a hands on education programme for primary schools in Plymouth, created to spark curiosity and pride in the sea on our doorstep. It gives pupils fun, meaningful ways to connect with Plymouth Sound National Marine Park across the school year, and supports teachers to build confidence in local, ocean focused learning.
PhD Researchers
Doctoral researchers are using Plymouth Sound National Marine Park as a real world case study, helping to shape how National Marine Parks work in practice. Their PhDs span everything from sustainable management and marine policy to people’s connection with the sea and access to heritage, turning the Park into a living testbed for ideas that can influence coasts and communities far beyond Plymouth.
