About
Join us in tidying up a local nature reserve! Armed with bags and pickers we will make out way to the coast line along the meadow and beach, disposing of any litter we find and enjoying the scenery as we go. At the end we will reward our hard-work with tea and biscuits!
This litter pick will also include completing a litter survey, Beachwatch by the Marine Conservation Society. Data collected from this survey will be sent off and used to inform larger campaigns about reducing litter in our waterways.
Blagdon’s meadow is a hidden gem and a county wildlife site, a beautiful area home to ecologically important and rare habitats and species.
So come along, connect with your blue space, meet others, and be part of something positive for Plymouth.
