Tinside Cove Coastal Clean – Great British Beach Clean Edition

Join us during an national, annual event: The Great British Beach Clean! A movement around the UK where we all collect litter around our coastlines and log out findings to the Marine Conservation Society to better understand our oceans.

Tinside Cove is haven for swimmers and revellers alike. Countless people enjoy the scenery and the sea here yet that also makes it vulnerable to high levels of litter. Can you help us keep this important site clean and protected?

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just dipping your toes into community action, there’s a spot for you. Come and help make the foreshore a healthy place to live for all creatures whether human or marine and learn about some of the biggest threats facing the marine environment from pollution and plastic. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits after!

We will meet at Tinside lido lift, at 13:00.

You will need appropriate clothing and footwear (we recommend walking boots or wellies) for weather.
